    Can’t believe the most famous banker in TV history, Milburn Drysdale of the Beverley Hillbillies, isn’t appreciated more for his unashamed ass kissing and compulsive love of money.
    I’m in the camp of liking all the offbeat types, Cliff Calvin, Frank Burns, George Costanza, Lionel Hutz, Niles Crane, etc.

    Somehow I forgot Jed Bartlett. Shame on me. And everyone on "Homicide" was great.

    I know David Caruso gets a lot of grief here but there was no better character on TV in the late 20th century than detective John Kelly on the first and part of the second seasons of 'NYPD Blue." He just killed it.
