Wait, wasn't John Slattery on "Ed," too? I'm still miffed that show hasn't come out on DVD.

Happy someone else mentioned Denise Huxtable. I was bitten by the Denise bug when I was a lad, could've kicked myself later when a girl I avoided through much of grade school blossomed into an offbeat-kinda-funky Denise-ish high school chick. Of course, by then, she'd have nothing to do with me. Dammit!

    Anyway, my five:
Monica Gellar, Friends. (Courteney Cox - I had a thing for her going all the way back to her first show, "Misfits of Science.")
Jordan McDeere, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. (Amanda Peet - beautiful, smart, and that smile.)
Thirteen, House. (Olivia Wilde - first noticed her on the short-lived "The Black Donnellys" and love her, but damn, baby... eat a cheeseburger!)
Fiona Bickerton, Keen Eddie. (Sienna Miller - Another short-lived show, but a longtime crush.)
Julia Salinger, Party of Five. (Neve Campbell - was never a fan of the show itself, but remembered being immediately smitten with Campbell from an appearance on a Kids in the Hall episode.)

So you were the other person watching Misfits of Science. Hell, I only watched it because I had met Kevin Peter Hall, whose more famous roles were ones in which you couldn't actually see his face (The Predator and Harry from Harry and the Hendersons). His father and mine worked together.

I need to revamp my top 5. Holy shit. I forgot all about Tina Fey. She's in my top 3 for sure.

    BINGO.

In fact, she looked very much like my HS girlfriend at the time.
