Was there something weird in the editing? Didn't they show Tom going into the rooms to wake them up before the challenge, and then again (same footage) when he took the winners to 30 Rock??

Great challenge, great show. I am just crazy for Fabio.

Rocco looks a little like Mike Myers - younger and thinner, but still.

I saw that, too. I think it was just a poorly identified promo.

Rocco is a huge, huge tool, but at least he seems to be realizing it, now.

    Bring on Tony Bourdain!

    I love this show.

I really hated Ariane in the first couple of eps, but she's really growing on me. I want the annoying guy from New York to go home. He irritates the crap out of me.

WFW. Daniel's accent grates on me (and I'm from New York) and makes him sound stupider than he probably is. Or maybe not.

I think he seems like a caricature of a New Yorker. Or maybe that's wishful thinking on my part.

Daniel said that Donald Trump is the "richest and most powerfulest" person in New York. <shudder>

I've been watching Top Chef since the first season and maybe it's just editing, but I've never seen so many people spit out the chef's foods. I think there's already been four people spit someone's food out.

I don't know if there were four in the seasons combined.

    Could be just editing though.

I can't even begin to imagine what that feels like as a chef to see someone spit your food out.

Based on what I've read on the televisionwithpity.com boards and the posts written by people far more obsessive about the show than me, the editing this season is much sloppier than in seasons past.
