The years apparently haven't been kind to Carla, although the woman apparently picked up some valuable culinary skills somewhere along the line.

I find her personality endearing...which more than offsets her homely appearance.

Oh, she's great and of all the people on the show, I'd probably have the most fun hanging out with her.

She's got an infectious personality and seems a lot more grounded than most of the chefs there. You can tell that she had a life before she was a chef, whereas the others' lives revolve around being a chef. If that makes any sense.

Honestly, I could see Carla being a model a number of years ago. If you ignore the crazy eyes (insert How I Met Your Mother reference here), she has some "attractive" features and is obviously tall and thin, something that models apparently should be (although I don't find it appealing). But those eyes ... man, they scare me sometimes. She seems like a very nice person and more likable then any of the other cheftestants ... but those eyes.

  5. Oh my, that's from Ripley's Believe It or Not, right? I think I remember her. That is off the scale crazy. But Carla could come close to matching, if she wanted to.

  6. Here is Leah's take on her time on the show and making out with Hosea: http://www.tvguide.com/News/Chef-Leah-Reveals-1002890.aspx

Not much sympathy for her based on the interview.

I think she was in over her head compared to the others who did make the Final Four, and stayed at least a couple weeks longer than her talent warranted. Probably a very good chef, but what's left are the truly great ones.

I really think she looks like a damned ostrich.

Can't wait. Only thing that would make this show even better would be if we could a) smell or b) taste the marvelous dishes they whip up. I find myself getting incredibly hungry by the end of each episode. And the crap I have in my kitchen just doesn't measure up.

Whatever happens, they should give Fabio his own show.

Should've said "Finale Part 1" in my earlier post.
