I'm going to watch it again. I think I had some 'bizzaro world' feed the first time.

This show has been ruined, which sucks. I'll be sticking to Tony Bourdain.

Go over to bravotv.com and read Tom's blog and watch Fabio's video...

All I can say is wow.

First of all, let me explain how my night went. I usually TiVo Top Chef so I can fast-forward through the 45 minutes of commercials. Well, I didn't realize tonight's show was actually 75 minutes long, so at 10 p.m. I walk back into the living room to start watching. The TV is muted, but Top Chef is still on and then I see Carla shaking all the judges' hands and when they show her interview, she starts crying. I assume she's eliminated. Then I see Jeff (WTF!) and I see him getting what I assume is eliminated. So, I sit down and quickly rewind the show to see WTF happened to get from point A to point Z.

I do like the twist of bringing back the last three eliminated chefs and letting them cook it out to get one last shot. I do like Carla winning the challenge and going to the finale. I do like Hosea nailing the gumbo and also going to the finale. I don't like which Euro the judges picked to join those two in the finale.

I think this was obviously a case of what Stefan has done through the course of the season than what happened that challenge.

But I don't know, because editing can make things seem different than they really are.

I'll watch again next week, but like Fabio, I have no doubt now that Stefan will win the whole thing. He got his motivation by being told he's got to do better if he's going to act so cocky.

It looked like all five chefs did a great job last night - which is not something that has routinely occurred at the semi-final level. I thought that was pretty impressive. Plus, I love the New Orleans locale.

I certainly prefer Fabio over Stefan, but the results didn't bother me that much. It'd be nice to shove a "Please pack your knives" up Stefan's ass, though.

I'll be pulling for Carla or Hosea in the finale... I can't stand Stefan

I'll be pulling for Carla - Hosea's been pretty whiny and annoying the last five or six weeks.

Fabio needed to bust out some of that Creole Monkey Ass...

Stefan may win the competition, but out of the entire group Fabio and Carla are the real winners in terms of using the opportunity to advance their careers.
