Before it's all over tonight and I never watch again, at least until next season....

This season really stunk. I can't believe they couldn't create some great shows in NY, with all the incredible people and food and backdrops. Seemed like you could have done most of those challenges anywhere. Very unimaginative.

My heart wants Carla to win...she's just a loon but really cooks from her heart. Hosea lost me the night he hooked up with Leah and then whined about having a girlfriend, and also when he messed up the fish. He's a fish chef, for god's sake.

And Stefan....well, I sort of believe he's a decent guy who maybe got the Amarosa treatment because they always need a bad guy. I could like him.

This season was a disappointment. I'll give the next season a couple of shots, but if it starts out like this one, I'm done.

I'm rooting for Carla, but I think Stefan will win. I'd rather see Stefan win, even though I think he's related in some way to Foam Boy, before Hosea.

Tom C has a Diet Coke TV spot out. Doesn't do much for me. Anyone else see it?

This is sort of my point that Carla and Fabio will be the two to capitalize on the TC experience.

Hosea is going to go back to being a cook at the level he was before. Good for him.

Stefan didn't really make a case for being THE caterer to hire for an event, either with his food or personality, which does come into play in that business.

Fabio has a TV show and other things in the works, and Carla's catering/cooking business should see a bump. Throw in personal appearances and demonstrations, to boot. TC offers a platform. They will benefit from their exposure on the show.

I did see the Colicchio commercial, supposedly some foodie groups are claiming (angrily) that the ad is rudely making fun of some hot upcoming chef who makes crazy fancy food. TC says he just reads the script and drinks his Diet Coke.

The spot just didn't do anything for me. Didn't play off/bring out his personality to the degree it could have. I'll have to check out the foodie blogs and see who the chef is.

Whoa...Richard! Casey! Marcel! Any of whom blow away all three of these cooks.
