    Well, that was underwhelming.

That thud was the sound of this show dropping like a wet resin bag.

When Hosea opens a restaurant with his winnings from TC I hope he hires a chef who knows how to cook seafood.

Dammit, now his restaurant in Boulder is going to be busy when I want to go there on my trip through Colorado! Boo. :'(

But really, I was unimpressed with most of the competitors this season ... none of them really blew me away at any point.

Kind of a surprise, but I was expecting it.

Stefan has been the most consistent chef all season, but let his cockiness get the best of him at the end.

Carla's biggest weakness -- her big heart -- proved to be her biggest downfall.

Hosea was kinda like the snake in the grass all season, just lying low in the weeds waiting for the right time to strike.

I can't remember much about tonight's show. The image of Gail spilling out of that top pretty much dominates my thoughts right now.

Stefan is going to be selling apparel. I kid you not. Fires up in a couple of weeks or so.

I was really touched by that last moment when Stefan went to hug Carla (altho she looked like she wanted to smack him). Very sweet gesture, and seemed genuine.

Can we talk about that quick moment during the final credits when Leah went in for the big lip smooch, and Hosea sort of tried to dodge out of the way? She is trouble.

    21,

Maybe he didn't want her to steal one of his chiclet teeth.

I just realized last night that the man is on par with Mikey Tyson as far as gaps in his front teeth and after he was gloating last night that he won it made me want to say "Shut up gappy!"

If Carla had not listened to her helper about that beef dish and if that cheese dish had worked she would've won. She so shot herself in the fricking foot.

Casey gacked on her food in the Season 3 finale and Carla gacked on Casey's food in the Season 5 finale. Both had all the momentum heading into it but pulled a Greg Norman.

For all my ranting about Stefan I thought the way he reached out to Carla was nice. I also noticed how Hosea didn't move.

I didn't see the closing credits when Leah made her appearance. I'll have to check that out. My Woot Flying Monkeys were very upset Hosea won and I was trying to calm them down.
