Let me try to break this down:

    1. sex before marriage is a sin
    2. NH is not married
    3. Marriages in Catholicism (apparently, news to me) must be used as a method of procreation unless it is physically impossible to do so.
    4. NH feels he cannot get married if he doesn't want kids

I didn't think it was that complicated.

Honestly, if you're that religious, and you don't want to fuck or have kids, why not go to Seminary?

OK, I'm not going back through the thread to find the answer to this, so apologies if it's already been answered. What if you (NightHawk) found a woman who also had no desire to have children, but who was interested in sex after marriage. And you both agreed on the necessary precautions. I mean, you could wrap that pecker like a CD case and have surgery and the whole enchilada. Would that not be acceptable even if your priest OK'd the union? I have to imagine there are more liberal priests who would marry you? Or no? I know very little about Catholicism.

I guess I'm just saying that I can't believe you would shut yourself down to EVERY possible scenario at the age of 23. Unless there is another reason.

The Catholic Church does not condone the use of contraception. He can't wrap it, even after he's married.

OK. Wasn't sure if there were more "liberal" churches that would allow it in his case.

This thread has convinced me atheism/agnosticism is the way to go.

The Church does allow married couples to take precautions, natural family planning, rhythm method, whatever they call it.
The Church does not allow pulling out. The Church allows the act of wife-on-husband oral sex but not to the point of orgasm.

    It's very specific.

    What about coitus interruptus?

When it comes to seed, you can't spill it, block it or kill it with chemicals.

Which is why masturbation is a sin.

Circumstances beyond your control are not sins. If a husband has mounted his wife and some stranger rips him from off of her, causing the seed to spill, that is not the husbands fault. There is no sin.
Likewise unfortunate accidents are not sins. If a husband gets too excited during foreplay and ejaculates before sex, that is not a sin.
    Good news for BYH.
