St. Peter should have just settled this shit from the beginning.

  2. There are some things you don't change your mind about. This is likely one of them. I'm not saying it's definitely like alcohol, but I would put the chances at 99.5 percent that I never change my mind on kids. For alcohol, it's 100 percent certain. I will say there is a tiny sliver of a chance that I could change my mind on kids, but I greatly doubt it.

And actually, I was a joy to hang around in college. Nobody hates the designated driver.

OK, I need to catch up quickly. Exactly why don't you want kids?

    Handy.
    I meant handy.

  5. Sure, there's a chance, and I might in fact be asexual. I've never given it a lot of thought, and honestly, I've never seen it as that big a deal that I'm a virgin. It was kind of an accepted thing for me for years that I would always be a virgin until marriage, and since I'm not married, it doesn't seem like anything big at all to me.

As far as that relationship, I had already informed her that there would be no sex, and I was completely rigid on that rule. That she got upset over my refusal later on said to me that she didn't respect me or my values enough to be worth dating. Harsh? Maybe, but that's the way I am.

    You said rigid.

  7. I just don't. I've got no desire to spend 18 years of my life doing a thankless job that requires far too much time, money and patience than I wish to invest. I don't want my life to be over at 30 or even earlier to spend my time dealing with the issues of bringing up a child when I have a lot of other things I would rather be doing.

It probably doesn't help a bit that in every family I see, my own included, the parents look miserable. I don't want that to be me. I like my life as it is, and I believe having a child will only subtract from that, not add from it.

The fact that Nighthawk hasn't been cast for a season of the Real World is a fucking miracle. They would love him.

At this point, it sounds like he could wait until he's older -- or not -- and marry a post menopausal woman. Or any woman who knows she is unable to bear children.

  10. Those are indeed my options if I wish to marry. And I have never seen the Real World. It sounds like a pretty dumb concept, from what I've heard.

If they would let a hysterectomy be elective surgery, I'd be there. Sadly, they won't rip my uterus out any time soon.

Dude, all kidding aside, props to you. This group can be pretty harsh sometimes, and while I may not understand where you're coming from, you certainly are strong in your convictions. I think you may find things look a lot different years down the road (I know I have), but you're strong in your beliefs, which is more than a lot of people can say.

You have an O'Douls coming your way on me, my friend.
