That's still abstaining from sex. Though masturbation is a sin, it's not as bad a sin as actually having sex. It's a venial sin, while actual sex would be a mortal sin. Still unquestionably bad, but not as bad.

No, I'd rather not. What I'm getting from this thread is not that I might as well go get some, but that if I'm going to have my beliefs taken seriously, I'm going to have to eliminate masturbation completely. Someday, I will.

I have not tried to justify a darn thing. I've admitted it's sinful behavior that I need to eliminate. Quite frankly, I've had enough of your trolling. Go bother somebody else. I guess I do invite that comparison by taking an unpopular stance, but I can't help what I believe. In retrospect, probably would have been better if I hadn't spotted that post on sex stopping after marriage. Bringing up my disagreement there, although I stand by it, was not one of my better decisions.

 

I think they would fit well with 3 of Hearts and the JaneDear Girls on my list of obscure country chick bands. Any group with Virgins in the name would have to be country, unless they were a punk band going for shock value.

 

I don't want to speak for JC, but I don't think that's what he meant with the Kermit McManus comparison.
