Holy crap, just watched that Web redemption and it was one of the funniest bits he's ever done.

This was the first one I'd really taken a good look at, and I've got to admit, the Web redemption was pretty damn good.

    BGTDG: Ah, titties!

Gus Johnson: (giggling)... That's good. I'm going to have to use that.

Last night's 20 seconds on the clock bit came from an area all-star basketball game sponsored by my former employer. Trust me when I tell you that a girls slam dunk contest is much more awful in person.

  8. The last two or three episodes might have been the worst he's done.
Don't know if he is slipping or running out of material, but stuff has been more uncomfortable, over-the-top and just fucking weird than funny.

That's what I thought his stuff to be when I first started catching bits and pieces of it. His stand-up confirmed it.

He pushes the envelope in many uncomfortable places.

I've still liked it, but I think he's probably running out of material to show. He mentioned it on one show in passing, but there is a limit to what they can clear with 1) whoever owns the video and 2) standards and practices. "Boom goes the dynamite" guy was awesome, but it took years to convince him, according to the episode before his.

More annoying to me: Missing the last 1 to 5 minutes of every show, because Comedy Central schedules their shows like idiots.

You gotta get a better DVR. Cox or Verizon?
I have Cox and this week's DVR'd just fine.
