Tragedy strikes one of our own...but Willie made his way home to his family

    When this thread started, I first thought that a nice guy was going to lose his son because of a terrible accident.

    Then it sounded like Willie was going to live, but would be limited because of the accident.

    As the days have passed and the updates continued to come, things have gotten better and better and better.

    The latest update is just the clincher that good things do really happen. With the Christmas holiday coming up, I couldn't be any happier for Kleeda and the Mrs. that they are getting their son back.

    It is a time for miracles.

    Love that photo -- almost as much as I love the fact that a wonderful thing is happening to wonderful people who deserve this :)

    Willie went in for his craniopasty this morning at 10. I held hos hand while he went under and told him as calmly as I could everything will be OK. I think he may have even believed me.

    Out of surgery and things went well. Wild Bill, as he's known here now, is likely to make his appearance very soon when the anesthesia wears off.
