    I wish I had better news for this update. kleeda just called me and said it appears Willie had a stroke at some point. He said it's unlikely Willie will regain higher brain function. He thanks all of you for your support and says the whole family appreciates it more than you know.

    Here's the e-mail he sent.

    So keep hoping for a miracle.

    Oh man... As a parent, you hear about something like this and it just tears you apart. I would give my life for any of my kids without even thinking about it and even the smallest of injuries tear us apart.

    I was shaking when my oldest had tubes put in his ears.

    We're praying Kleeda. Your entire family is in our prayers.
