    That is just beautiful.

And, as much as traditional media no longer has the resources to do investigative reporting (for the most part) you'd think that things like twitter will bring things that are "open secrets" or that "everybody knew about" into the open.

Phil Fulmer floats his name for every BCS school opening, yet never gets a whiff of attention. Breaks my heart I tell you.

Twitter is not the most realiable source in the world. You need paperwork if you are going to bring someone down or documents.

But think about how many scenes like that would have been noted throughout the years -- reporters have always seen athletes driving cars the jocks couldn't possibly afford. But there was no outlet for a short burst to say "hey here's what I just saw," and the only time the cars (cough cough Michigan basketball cough cough) became a topic of conversation would be from a long exhaustive investigation, the likes of which were rare.

No guarantee that tOSU just shrugs this off and stays a national title contender. In between Woody Hayes and Jim Tressel, the Buckeyes had five seasons of two losses or fewer. One was Earle Bruce's first year with Woody's players. That covered more than 20 years. Under Tressel, they had seven seasons of two losses or fewer. He was there less than half the time of Bruce/John Cooper.

We get more insight from reading his daughter's twitter postings.

Can we just stop with the "TOSU?" What does that make the other state universities in Ohio? Junior high schools?
Arrogance is not the best stance Ohio State people can put forth right now.

No guarantee ANY school stays up, forever. Look at the current state of Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, etc. 'Bama isn't that far down the road from the Shula days.

Still, today's current structure is about who swings the biggest stick....facilities, cash, etc.. Aren't many bigger sticks, than the what Tosu swings.

I'll stick with TOSU, hondo. Hubris is all we're going to have left :)

You're right. Writing tOSU (Facetiously? Hmmmmmmm, you decide.) on a message board will surely change everything that is happening and shape things in ways no one can predict.

He did recruit SEC speed. That's what set them apart from the rest of the Big 10. They were the only team in the conference with SEC speed.

He just didn't bring in enough SEC speed to beat SEC teams.

No coach with any juice is gonna touch Ohio State for a while. The hammer has not fallen yet. It will. Probably USC-like in impact.

All thanks to the man who puts the "vest" in "in-vest-igation" ...
