So he wants to play in the Horseshoe but is worried about a few locals coming to watch a AA basketball game?

    I'm not buying that.

Now, if only he put that much thought into not driving a sports car around campus while his team was being investigated.

And the other 40 players with their hands out for swag, cash, tats and cars?

Pryor's the lightning bolt. The other 40 players are just a number that makes your eyes bulge. Pryor's the face on it.

And if it wasn't Pryor within that group of five, I think Tressel considers turning the info over to the compliance office. Posey and Adams were integral, but replaceable. Tressel rats out Mike Adams, he looks like he's running a tight ship. Ohio State isn't going to lose a game because Mike Adams isn't playing.

If Tressel ratted out Pryor in March, he was left with Joe Bauserman at quarterback, who makes Todd Boeckman look like a young Dan Marino.

Waiting for one, or a few of his teammates to get pissed of and start selling him out.

I am wondering if Darrel Hazell is regretting taking the job at Kent State. Hazell was the assistant head coach with Tressel and, really, was the key recruiter at Ohio State. He left to take over his own program at Kent but you would think would love to take over the program at Ohio State. Plus, of all the assistant coaches in Columbus Hazell is the only one I never have heard any hint of impropriety about. I wonder if he will put in for the job despite just starting his first year at Kent.

This speaks to a point I make from time to time about Les Miles. For all his goofiness and mistakes, give him this: He cut loose Ryan Perrilloux in 2008, knowing it would probably cost LSU any chance it might have had for a national title in the next three seasons. Without Perrilloux, LSU doesn't win it in 2007 (he was MVP of the SEC Championship Game, subbing for an injured Matt Flynn). Without Perrilloux, LSU had to play 2008 with all of its QBs a notch higher on the depth chart than they were prepared for, and the position was a disaster that year and the next.

The domino effect of releasing Perrilloux still haunts LSU, which hasn't settled into a good QB situation since that 2007 championship season. Perrilloux's problems weren't as serious as some other high-profile SEC arrests, but they began piling up, and Miles let him go. He could have compromised to win more games, and he didn't. I respect him for that.

The only person Tressel should ever look at and think "That MFer" for this whole mess is himself.

Unfortunately, his hypocrisy and lack of self-awareness virtually guarantee that he will blame everyone in the world before he takes any responsibility.

The Bryce Jordan can seat more than a few locals. And its JMO. Not fact.

I'm sure this has been posted here but I didn't see it in these 9 pages: Why didn't Pryor just enter the NFL draft? He had to have known this was coming and he already was missing five games.
