One that never fails to make me laugh is the scene toward the end where they've propped up the dead Felix on the boat and put a fishing pole in his hand.

After a short pause, Ben asks: What if he catches something?

Without wading through five pages, I'll vote for American Psycho.

I'll agree with Aletered States, Pi. Both very weird.

    Also:
    Tron
    Anything David Lynch
The Saddest Music in the World
Boxing Helena (Jennifer Lynch, go figure)
    2001
The Heart is Deceitful Above All Things (One of the worst movies I've watched)

  5. Repulsion.
The hands coming out of the wall to grope Deneuve, while understandable in theory, freaked me out.
Le Chien Andelou is also one to keep an eye out for.

    Cat People.

Don't remember the whole plot. I just remember leaving the theatre feeling like I was screwed out of $5.

Two Moon Junction (with a young, sexy Virginia Madsen)

The only positives were getting to see Nastassja Kinski and Annette O'Toole nekkid.

I haven't read the entire thread, but I thought "Punch Drunk Love" was a strange strange movie. In fact, I hated it.

Have not seen a ton of the movies mentioned on here, but caught this one on IFC the other night and holy shit, what a fucked-up flick. It was like crossing "Laugh-in" with "Caligula." A skin flick with enough heavy-handed symbolism to make you forget about all the hot, naked chicks.

Two Moon Junction starred, I believe, a fetching Sherilyn Fenn and wtf? Kristy McNichol. I'll toss my support to the "Crash" by David Cronenborg(sp?) Just plain odd. I'm also not one of those people who "gets" the brilliance of Kubrick. I've read Roger Ebert's explanation of 2001 and I still don't understand it.
