Yellow Brick Road? A horse of a different color?

Who know they had such good psychedelic drugs in 1939.

Yeah, that is NOT a kids' movie. There's this strange undercurrent of psychedelic violence running through the whole thing.

Just finished watching 8mm. That was beyond fucked up. I don't know which character Gandolfini dislikes more: Eddie Poole or Big T? Seriously disturbing shit.

Being John Malkovich. Sooo weird, with Cameron Diaz in the most unattractive role she'll ever play.

And I'm absolutely stunned this is in the seventh page, and the ULTIMATE weird movie has not been mentioned yet:

    Ed Wood.

How about "Cube Zero" ... the prequel ?
I watched all three of these within a month of each other, and I probably will never watch them again.

I don't know if I would recommend this, but the strangest film I went to was called Brick was that kid from Third Rock In the Sun (Gordon Jason Leavitt, I think his name was). I had a VIP pass for the screening, so I said "what the hell"....I can tell you this, it was the most bizarre, confusing movie I ever saw and it apparently won big cinema awards. The main character's ex girlfriend dies and he is trying to figure out how it happened. There is a so called drug ring but really, this story and all the scenes in the movie were weird...they did not connect. I think it came out on video in the last few months.

I also nominate Seven Girlfriends. Odd, odd film, but kind of endearing in a way.

I watched John Waters' "Female Trouble" to kill a couple of hours while visiting the in-laws recently.

That one skyrocketed to the top of my list.

Try "A Dirty Shame." You'll be wowed.

A Boy and his Dog. Don Johnson in a post-apocalyptic tale. I tend to dislike post-apocalyptic films. Such a downer.
