I mean, kudos for Trump getting this far without a campaign staff. But outsourcing fundamental tasks to the RNC doesn't seem smart. Maybe he can't afford to pay a POTUS-sized staff?

Trump doesn’t have a national campaign. So the GOP is trying to run one for him.

 

There was a BusinessWeek piece a few weeks ago in which Trump expressed skepticism that a national campaign had to cost so much. I thought, "Hmmmmm ... he's defied the conventional wisdom nine ways to Sunday, maybe this will be another instance of it."

 

They've got a vice grip on state legislatures, which will allow them to suppress votes of the poor. They've got control of the House for decades. They're going to be just fine.
