He's already explained, that since his campaign is virtually broke, that he plans to ride more free media all the way to the convention.
So he's going to try to create a media crisis/shitstorm every day to scoop up more of that free media.
So he doesn't care if Roethlisberger denies he's endorsed him: in fact, he prefers it because the denials keep the story alive through a couple more news cycles.
Ditto for the fake civil war golf course brouhaha; THE PIG doesn't care if it's true or not as long as people keep talking about it.
Problem is the Dems are going to loose their entire surrogate army from sea to shining sea to bury him under a shower of shit on a 24/7 basis and THE PIG will have to burn up most of those news cycles trying to fight it all off.
Of course the All-Star team: Warren, Bubba and Barack -- and Bernie when or if he wants to get on board -- will take the major shots, but every Dem down to the dog catchers will be allowed/ encouraged / ordered to pick fights with THE PIG, because the Dems want to tie Dumpf around the necks of the GOP all the way down the ticket, so if he goes down to a nuclear ass blasting, he'll take the whole ticket down with him.

Plus if a veritable ant army of attackers rip the shit out of him, on charges as ridiculous and sensational as possible, down to nickel and dime congressional races, that'll goad him into trying to fire back at all of them.

And the minute The Pig answers personally to some junior varsity candidate way down the ticket, they've won: they've succeeded in making the election Them Vs. Trump.

He'll be so busy firing back at some rookie congressman from Frostbite Falls accusing him of fucking monkeys in high school, he won't have time to fire on Hitlerry.
