That Quinnioiac poll is a head-spinner. Get down into the twenties. Voters see Clinton as more prepared, smarter, more likely to get things done, likeable, etc., (yet DT's judge jihad is definitely racist) but the races are tight. What the...?

Nate Silver often explains that good polling weights its results based on likely turnout (and a number of other factors; do they poll people who use cell phones only, for example). Some polling places don't do that. They're outdated. So it's possible that the actual number is Hillary +5, but people saying they'd vote for Trump are less likely to show up on Election Day.

It's possible it's the opposite too. But this is why Silver looked so smart in 2008 and 2012. He understood what polls to take seriously and what ones were flawed.
