    Those data points are from April. Ancient irrelevant history by now.

    You're right. I'm sure Cruz would have become more likable the more people got to know him.

    You're right about that.

    Trump will run worse in some states, like Utah and Arizona, than Cruz would have, but their percentage of the nation vote would likely be similar.

    Cruz is unlikable too, just in different ways, to different people.

    Anyone see today's new NBC/WSJ, where they included Johnson and Stein?

    Hillary is at only 39%, and only +1 over Trump.

    She really is nearly as unpopular as Trump.

    Cruz is a pretty likable guy outside the public eye. But you would never admit that since you're probably blinded by hatred of his politics. That is understandable and almost universal.

    The same way I think Obama is a heaping stinking turd who I wouldn't want to spend a minute near.

    Is there anyone in the Senate who thinks Cruz is likable? Does Mike Lee hang out with Cruz?

    One of them should rework this as a new campaign slogan.

    H Not quite as
    -> hated as Trump!

    TRUMP! We're almost equally unpopular, so what the hell, right?

    This is from the Brexit thread, but I think the response belongs here.

    Bullshit.

    Even in victory, Donald Trump can’t stop airing his grievances

    Now I do think there are Republicans who feel that way, who will vote Trump out of party loyalty. But this isn't what Trump has used to energize his true believers. It's the racism and bigotry. That's what gives his campaign life.
