Everyone else's argument is that you made a simple, if understandable, factual error, and instead of acknowledging it and moving on, you've made a total ass of yourself trying to argue you were right all along. Instead of it being a two-second blip it has now become a multi-page monument to stupidity that will now live on among Baron's Greatest Hits.

To back up the argument, I submit your last billion posts on this topic.

I did acknowledge it in my first post. I added an edit that corrected myself, and YF. YF said she was an American. I said she was an Israeli, then corrected myself and said we were both wrong, that she was Israeli-American. Backing up my assertion was numerous media reports that called her that, or an Israeli.

Everyone else has insisted that I'm wrong, that she's an American citizen. Some even have tried to cover for themselves by saying that they've never said she's not an Israeli, which actually proves my point. There is a difference between being an American citizen, and an Israeli-American citizen. The media stories are reporting it that way because there is a difference. It's not like a teen who lived in Nebraska was killed on a vacation in Israel. It was a teen who lived there.

I've asked numerous times from everyone to show me what the difference is between an American citizen and an Israeli-American citizen. Not one person has been able to do so. Not one person has willingly answered any of my questions without "Who gives a shit?" and "It doesn't matter," or the usual childish insults. What a bunch of posters here don't seem to realize is that the more times you insult, the more convincing it is to the other person is that their argument is right.

But you were NOT "both wrong." Only you were wrong. YF was right.

I can only charitably assume you have a fundamental misunderstanding of how dual citizenship works. They are not placed in a separate category from other US citizens. This girl was 100 PERCENT an American citizen, every bit as much as you, I or anyone else with US citizenship. The fact that she also has a second citizenship does nothing to change that fact. When YF said she was a US citizen, he was entirely correct. When you claimed otherwise, you were entirely wrong. A very simple black and white thing that should've ended with a quick apology instead of you giving us this comical shitshow for god only knows how many pages now.

Actually, as I've pointed out several times already, it does. In Israel, she would have needed a passport if she wasn't an Israeli citizen.

And, as I've also pointed out numerous times, her second citizenship was quite meaningful to those news organizations that chose to call her an Israeli, and/or an Israeli-American. And as I've said multiple times, should those news organizations be apologizing and correcting themselves? A very simple question that you can answer.

I can't fight this level of ceaseless stupidity. I surrender. You win, Baron. Your logic is impeccable. YF, apologize to this man immediately.

"Ceaseless stupidity." Once again, nothing to refute what I'm actually arguing.

That is because your point has been refuted so completely on every level that there is nothing left to say. (Damn. There goes the first day of middle school.)

Refuted how? Has anyone posted any actual information contrary to what I've posted?

What "information" would there be? A court ruling that it's not incorrect to call her an American citizen?
