Trump must have sought advise from his friend Vince McMahon on how to turn Ted into
a heel. Last night was a page right out of The WWE playbook complete with the champion making an appearance to stare down the heel as he spoke.

Starting to become crystal clear how his companies went bankrupt so many times.

    Re: Trump's comments about NATO

Is he trying to turn NATO into a protection racket? "Yeah, we'll make sure my good friend Putin doesn't invade you. But it'll cost youse some cash!"

As of this morning, I respect Ted Cruz a lot more than Paul Ryan.

I don't think I've ever been as disappointed in a politician as I was in Paul Ryan when he caved to Trump.

Ya know, I think Ted Cruz is a smugshit sociopath but Jesus he just had a laugh-out-loud good point in his speech to Texas delegates. When he merely suggested people vote for someone they could trust and who would uphold the constitution, people started booing.

And after being booed off the stage at the RNC, he blamed the dastardly media for ginning up "Republicans in disarray" stories.

Meh ... I've kind of softened on Ryan. He has an unenviable task, given his institutional obligations. Cruz is burdened by no such constraints. Would I prefer more from Ryan? Sure. But he hasn't crossed the Rubicon (in my eyes, at least), and I don't think he will.

He did it again in this speech too, telling the crowd the people with cameras, "are not our friends."

"History teaches us that weakness arouses evil."

Pence said that. Interesting line. His line?

Pence gave a pretty good speech.
