I don't care if he resigned or never did anything of substance for said foundation. That can't happen. Can't they find someone without such ties? Appearance of conflict of interest is enough to DQ for me.

 

The Commission on Presidential Debates is led by a former head of the RNC. I guess he didn't have a problem with Cooper - based on his performances at past POTUS debates and town halls.

 

Oh, for God's sake. Just make Roger Ailes the moderator, YF. He and Trump could make jokes about Hillary's tits for 90 minutes. Great TV.

Candidate's top advisers are like caddies. They never tell their principal things are anything less than great unless they're desperately bad, and even then it's rare. Campaigning is sucky hard work, so you have to keep your tiger's spirits up.

 

Which made the report about the RNC telling Trump's son things don't look good a bit surprising.
