Poor Hillary. Like Al Gore before her, she's a victim of an unfair media.

And, btw, the Clinton Foundation? It's been investigated, and it totally checks out.

Thank God we have Krugman to set us all straight.

    Two things
1). Here is where it really started
Barackryphal: The Secret Origin of the Birthers

and 2). What's the point? Say Hillary did start it, does that mean it's more likely to be true? Does that mean it's not racist or not partisan?

Moral duty? Let that sink in. He feels (not "thinks") defending Hillary is his moral duty.

It means that Hillary isn't a victim.

It means Trump's campaign isn't unusual in its viciousness, its willingness to traffic in "conspiracy theories", or its reluctance to shoot down rumors about the other candidate.

It means Rudy Giuliani hasn't lost his mind, nor is he peddling lunacy.

It means the media is quick to tie "conspiracy theories " about a Dem to the Republicans, to try and bat down the theories, and to use them against the Republican.

But, when Hillary's campaign was pushing these theories against Obama, she wasn't made to pay a price for them.

Despite the "lunacy" of the theories her campaign used to attack Obama, she was still a viable candidate for President 8 years later.

And, the media never attempted to tag her as racist or anti-Muslim, despite the actions of her campaign.

Colin Kaepernick must have stumbled across her "super predators" speech on YouTube.

Feelings over facts? I can understand your concern. He is stealing that approach from the Republicans.

As the article I posted clearly started, the rumors did not begin with Hillary nor did she or her staff promote them. Some of her supporters, mostly Phillip Berg, were early promoters of those theories.

I'm sure she and her staff looked into it, because if there's a chance one of your opponents may be ineligible you owe it to yourself to look into it.
But she saw there was nothing there and didn't pursue it.

No, it really wouldn't mean all of that if you could even prove it, which you can't. But keep trying. Your desperation is funny.

SmallCerebralCortex, reporters have acknowledged that the Clinton campaign was spreading these rumors.

They didn't go public with them, because they didn't want to be tied to them.

But they sent them around -- even sending them to Drudge when others wouldn't run them.
