Her detail's nonchalance about her collapse, and their having to catch her, and put her in the van, is remarkable.

It's almost like... they've done it before.

Can we now revisit the South Carolina "slip" on the stairs back in February, and admit she was being carried up the stairs, or is it too early for that?

    #Brexit all over again.

It's a fuck you to the elites who have pandered to the middle and lower class, while only working on behalf of the 1%.

You'd think more of the folks here would be onboard.

I've spent a helluva lot of time in mainline Protestant churches and I've never heard anyone endorse a political candidate.

Brexit is a fine example. People were told their economic problems were the fault of foreigners. So they chose the course that will over the long run make them worse, all without bothering that pesky "elite" one bit. This shell game might well work for Trump, too. But the economic situation of his voters won't change a bit. What will they be promised then? Who else will be the scapegoated "other?"

Another way of interpreting it is that the little people were sold a false bill of goods. Turns out those nice folks over there in Brussels aren't nearly as interested in solving the problems of the little people as they are in ensuring that they (the ersatz problem-solvers) get to run things their way.

The "little people" in Britain weren't sold a false bill of goods by the people in Brussels. The people who told them Brexit would work well for them deserve the blame on that.

Look, the "fuck you" works both ways.

We've seen calls for raising the "luxury tax" which studies show would hurt folks who work as brokers, and in boat yards far more than it would hurt the 1%.

No one gives a fuck. We see folks like Barack Obama talk about "fundamental fairness". It doesn't matter if the treasury's overall take goes down as a result from the new tax, people still want to enact it to fuck the rich.

And, the "luxury tax" is not the only instance of this.
