Trump might not be a racist. But he sure has a history of racist behavior.

Birtherism is apparently the most vile, racist thing ever, and the media is suddenly determined to make Trump pay a price for it.

But, we're now seeing the media reluctantly acknowledge that top Clinton advisor, and confidant, Sid Blumenthal, spread birther, Muslim and "Whitey tape" tumors during the 2008 campaign.

It's why Hillary was not allowed to hire Sid at State. (And instead he was put on the payroll at the Foundation and at David Brock's groups.)

But, the media really doesn't want to talk about this, and surely doesn't want to make Hillary pay a price for it.

And, let's be clear, they are acknowledging it because they can't possibly, credibly, deny it. They were on the receiving end of Sid's whisper campaign, and thus have first hand knowledge of it.

@YankeeFan, you really have no clue how the media works, do you?

Ha, yeah. At least she had the decency to spread this in smoke-filled rooms, behind his back!

Why do you think they didn't accept the proof in Obama's case?

Chuck Todd reduced to the level of @Smallpotatoes:

TODD: What I’m curious about though is who cares about the Clinton incident? Donald Trump for five years perpetuated this. This has been arguably part of his political identity for the last five years. So what difference does it make whether Clinton did it? Why do two wrongs make a right in this case. Forget Clinton. Why did he perpetuate it for five years after some associates from Hillary Clinton in your words.?

If it wasn't for his promoting birtherism, Trump would not be the GOP nominee. It was his springboard.

Hopefully his auto insurance policy includes car rental and gap

So, he was more effective with it than Hillary?

To be fair, Hillary had to keep her hands clean since she was using it in a Dem primary, and would have still needed the votes of African-Americans if she had beaten Obama.
