It's truly gross the people who want this dude to just rip up the Constitution because they're scared. I'm not sure you ever loved America in the first place, you just liked the comfort. Not the ideals.

He's had a pretty good month. Great seems a bit strong. Considering the swings provided by dueling convention bumps created far greater changes in the numbers, it's not like he's gotten over any humps.

His issue will be what it always is. Because of his abrasiveness and disinterest in appealing to large swaths of the electorate (his staff changes only help there), he'll have a ceiling. So he'll need to hit peak ceiling and find a way to drive HRC below it. Maybe he can do it. I don't know if the petulant tweetstroms help or hurt there.

Well, for one thing, he thinks it's a sad situation that the accused will have a lawyer to defend him in court.

For another thing, he called the guy a foreign enemy combatant when in fact he is a United States citizen.

Thirdly, he says in one breath that there should be a fair trial, and then in the next breath, he's already pronounced the guy guilty and is demanding a harsh punishment.

    1. Nope.
    2. Nope. You can be a US citizen and still be an enemy combatant.
