Yeah, but he's trying to win back a crowd that believes Iraq was the right call and hunky-dory until January 2009. So it would make sense for him to say that.

Yes, a message that says you will bring back jobs is more hopeful than one that promises more welfare, more Obama phones, and an increase in the minimum wage.

People who believe in themselves simply want an opportunity. Trump promises them this.

The Democratic Party is convinced that they can only win by putting together a coalition of the poor and aggrieved. Given that, does anyone really believe they want fewer poor or aggrieved voters?

Poverty pays for Democrats. (Not for Democrats like Jesse Jackson, or other race hustlers, but for those who follow them.)

Democrats want to grow poverty, and every one of their policies is determined to do so.

So, democrats want more subsistence programs. They want to import poor immigrants, and to legalize the poor here illegally.

And, the more poverty grows, the more their cradle-to-grave care message appeals to those with no hope of upward mobility.

No. He doesn't. He really doesn't.

You hear that, but he isn't saying it.

Santorum, Huckabee and Rubio have also talked, extensively, on the manufacturing crisis in our country but no where with the hateful tone of Trump.

You just painted every white Southerner who isn't wealthy as dumb and racist. You have no credibility on "hateful tone."

Trump sees life as a series of negotiations.

He's negotiating with the electorate, and his opponents with every public utterance.

He doesn't expect to get 100% of what he's fighting for. In most cases we'd call that compromise, and regard it as a good thing.

In Trump's case, the mere gall of asking for the moon as the first move in a negotiation offends some.

What is a Trump promise worth?

And I would think that immigrants who make the effort to come here are more likely to be able to handle their business without government help.

Not wealthy Southerners -- poor Southerners. Big difference. You see poor whites in other parts of the U.S. who have the same mindset. They just hide it better.
