Not that blue. They elected Christie governor. You also have two Democratic senators, six GOP congressmen and six Democratic congressman.

But Obama won by a lot last election and most registered voters are Democrat.

 

I won't eat at Jimmy Johns because of their non-compete policy, which I find terribly restrictive for lower pay jobs.

 

You're saying poor voters who choose Democrats are downcast in life and receptive to minimum wage, free healthcare, etc. Think about why would poor African-Americans be receptive to those ideas, instead of "give the rich guy a tax cut and keep your fingers crossed that he'll hire you." Look at past history.

 

George Romney: worked his way to CEO of auto company and then transitioned into Republican politics and was elected governor.

Mitt Romney: worked his way to CEO of Bain and then transitioned into republican politics and was elected governor.

Jimmy John's is good, but it's no Jersey Mike's. JM has a Trump-level lead on JJ. It's amazing. It's incredible, and I love it. And it loves me. We're great friends.

 

The Jersey Mike's nearest my office is about a 12-block walk, but worth it every couple weeks.
