Oh, I'm sure the people who want to be able to say the n-word in normal conversation have no problem with Trump getting into pissing matches with someone.

 

I'm a little surprised there's been more discussion of the Miss Universe comments than the GOP nominee defending his stance that "it's good business" when Hillary said he rooted for the housing collapse because he could then swoop in and buy real estate for less. Seriously, the man who the GOP nominated to run for President and who says he wants to make America great again thought it was fantastic that things went down the shitter for a while so he could make some more money.

 

I'm surprised, too. If you look at this thread, I thought at the moment it happened that it was a big moment, and it actually helped turn a pretty evenly matched early round toward her favor.

I'm sure we'll be hearing about it again and again, probably in a commercial.

 

I think it's overgeneralizing a bit to say he was "rooting" for a collapse. At least it's not as bad as those who say he should pay more taxes than he legally should.

 

I think Clinton narrative should be that Trump hurt her self esteem so badly that he drove her to a life
