    Yes and no.

Pence is 1,000 times more articulate than the guy at the top of the ticket. He has the platform tonight to launch an hour's worth of broad sides against Clinton and her history and perhaps change the current conversation back to her foibles, not Trump's.

Sorry, but they get to own it, too.

This is mostly true in regards to Trump. He looks good as an alternative to Clinton, except when he doesn't.

The problem is that he's now had too many meltdowns, and we're getting really close to the finish line.

If he had maintained his discipline and prepped for the debate, he'd be leading right now.

But, let's talk about the "infidelity" charge.

He did not at all imply that she was sexually unfaithful to Bill.

Trump said Hillary was only "loyal" to her donors and herself. Then he said he wasn't sure she was even loyal to Bill.

    This wasn't about sexual loyalty.

It simply means she would put herself first, without regard to any personal loyalty we'd expect her to have for her husband.

Yes, that's true. But they will be very quick to repudiate Trump if he's elected and the predictable chaos ensues.

It's really 2 bowls of vanilla ice cream. Don't you think that Kaine will push back if Pence trys to
broadside the Clinton machine. To me Kaine and Pence seem like the same person other than party
allegiance. Their both consummate politicians that are not going to say or do anything remotely
    interesting.

Of course that's what he meant. Come on.

And they'll be greeted with my outstretched middle finger.

One of the first rules of politics is that when someone switches to your side, you drop their past as a topic. BTW, if Clinton wins, she'll face the same problem as leftier Democrats repudiate her when the predictable gridlock ensues.

Not if they play a part in actually electing that moron.

The only point to tonight's debate is to see if Pence can help to normalize Trump.
