Even the NYT story said it's not a "loophole." It's the result of a conscious policy decision. The Wall Street Journal noted that it's "uncontroversial."

 

What I think is funny is that it's a standard practice but both Giuliani and Christie call Trump a genius for doing it.

What's funny is that the NYT story quoted the accountant saying that Ivana was the one asking questions in the meetings, not Trump. Trump didn't give two shits about the details. He had nothing to do with this.

 

Yes, bringing up Bill being impeached for lying under oath about his affair with Lewinsky is a sharp commentary on political loyalty to donors and has nothing to do with sex.
