So Rosie was in on it? That explains his 3 am tweetstorm too?

Maybe he can fire off some N-words to drive attention too!

I mean, it's worthy of mockery, but it's what he did.

Publicity is oxygen for Trump. He definitely believed that any press was good press, so if a public feud -- that coincidentally came right before the season premiere of the Apprentice -- with Rosie O'Donnel got him in the news, so be it.

He was intentionally provocative to break through the news cycle, which is also what he's done this campaign.

    It's totally presidential, too.

Do you think Rosie didn't engage in similar behavior?

She might not have coordinated with Trump, but she was "in on it" in that she participated in it.

Actually, you gotta be elected to be presidential. If you stipulate that this bit is of a piece with the strategy that's got him pretty damn close ...

It's totally fair to say it's unpresidential.

I'm just saying it was calculated and is fairly standard procedure in the entertainment and media industries.

Do you think she saw the entertainment value in it?

Was his tweetstorm about Machado for entertainment value too?

Then maybe he should stay in reality TV and Wrestlemania and stop trying to lead the free world.

You're fooling yourself if you think that Machado is not going to benefit from this financially.
