Seen it a number of times already. Also have seen lefties citing "gerrymandering" for a couple of US Senator victories, too.

 

Well, it isn't. It's fact.

 

This question -- "Which states rely the most on the federal government and couldn't function without it?" -- cannot lead to a factual answer.

Besides ... it's an absolutely stupid question.

 

You seem awfully proud of yourself for the comparison without realizing that the difference in populations among the states could very easily cause the 31-whatever advantage to be an example of the same disproportionate allocation that gerrymandering causes.

 

Well, of the 11 most-populous states, eight have GOP governors. (Texas, Florida, Illinois, Michigan, Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, New Jersey)
