There’s no longer any way for Republicans to boot Donald Trump from the ballot

Once again, how hilariously bad are Ted Cruz's political instincts? If this comes out two weeks ago, Cruz could have been the biggest bullhorn saying "See! I told you he was despicable. This is why I couldn't support him and never will." Instead he basically got run over by Trump. Trump stole his manhood and rented it back to him for ten times the price. It's maybe the most emasculating thing I've even seen in politics.

 

So did the Clinton team have this and did they leak it now? Are there more? It's almost as if they waited to sucker in more Vichy Republicans and...Pow right in the kisser. Fuck all of you spineless bastards.

 

You're kidding yourself. Literally just today Kristof found a woman who went on the record with an assault. I will bet you a fifth of bourbon that this isn't the end. It's going to get way worse for him.

 

I'm suddenly wondering if Trump cancelling his ad buys in battleground states suddenly makes more sense.

 

I wonder what Trump will say in this "video statement" that he's supposed to release.

If it is from them -- which is the chalk pick -- major kudos for riding out the storm a month ago and waiting to send it out when the GOP can't do anything about it.

 

That's my point. Pure brilliance. I would think the board Karl Rove fan club would begrudgingly say..."nicely done".

 

You might be right about that. Seemed like an odd thing to do in battleground states. But if they knew this was coming, why wasn't the Trump campaign ready for it? Did they think the Clinton speech leaks, which weren't in any way a bombshell, would be bigger than this story?
