I forgot he got re-elected. The early 2000s are kind of a blur for me, thankfully.

 

That's the capital of oil country, Dubya's very birthplace. Visited my sister there this spring. Not my favorite town in the world, but the kids are cute and the weather was decent, so it was a good time.

 

Though that reminds me how much damage Molly Ivins could have done in this election.

We think back to the candidates who Trump beat out for the Republican nomination. Many people believe any number of Republicans would be heading down the final stretch with victory in sight and Clinton in the rear-view mirror. We are in this camp.

I love reading stuff like that. It reminds me that the GOP isn't ever going to figure out what it's doing wrong.
