It seems to be an overlooked point, really. We are aware that Russia is actively trying to influence the election through cyber attacks, and yet, it seems like nobody has really batted an eye at this and, as Schmidt notes, one party's supporters are gleefully latching onto he Russian interference as if it supports their side. Are we really at the point where the enemy of my countryman is my friend?
