I should have included a third possibility, that he glances at them, but does not read them carefully.

Comey's actions draw criticism from the right, too. Jeanine Pirro:

“Comey’s actions violate, not only long-standing Justice Department policy, the directive of the person that he works under, the attorney general,” the former prosecutor said, referring to Loretta Lynch’s reported disagreement with Comey, “but even more important, the most fundamental rules of fairness and impartiality.”

That seems like a good starting point for determining whether one is on "the right side of history" or not.

I'm concerned history is going to be four years of Watergate investigations, gridlock on Capitol Hill, and not a damn thing done for the good of the country.

I partly agree, though I believe a Clinton administration truly will work for "the good of the country."
What is in store for four years under Trump? I'm concerned -- make that convinced -- it will only be whatever is good for the Trump ego and the Trump brand.

In fairness, Jan. 20, 2009 saw Dems in control of House and Senate. It wasn't until Jan. 2011 that things really ground to a halt.

So I included spring training stats.

Still, seems like the Obama years have been full of more obstructionism than governance.
