This campaign, if nothing else, has been s tremendous social experiment evidencing how insanely people change their minds based on the last news story to break.

 

There is still the compelling school of thought that says no minds are changing, people are just more or less motivated to talk to polls based on good or bad news about their candidate.

 

I agree that the research on that is suggestive. But the trend line in all today's polls indicate wavering Republicans are returning to Trump. That will make it close.
