It isn't about disagreeing with her choice. It was that she voted from a position of ignorance. I'm sorry, but if you can't even remember who you voted for in a presidential election just two days after you cast the vote, that is foolish.

I am absolutely comfortable with judging somebody who votes without bothering to make a thoughtful, informed choice.

Election anxiety is real. I ought to know, I have a case so bad I actually thought Bob Dole was going to win in 1996. But I have discovered that while there is no cure, actually doing work for your preferred candidate is very therapeutic. Also Scotch helps.

But it would have robbed the world of that great Viagra commercial!

 

For the first time in my voting life, I actually had a nightmare about the election. And this was before news of those damn emails broke again. Normally my relief is to enjoy my day job, but even there I had to cover a rather unpleasant story this week. I'm just ready for it to be over but there doesn't seem to be a deep enough hole to crawl into right now.
