It always stings a little more when the hate comes to your hometown.

Voting for the crook doesn't narrow it down.

Actually, it is. In order to call foul on the Trump campaign, I don't have to single out a few deplorables. I can go right to the top. To the campaign manager, who, in his other job, runs a website that traffics in anti-Semitic filth. This is the leader of the campaign of the One and Only Party of Real Americans and Real Christian Values. His rhetoric sets the tone that hundreds of thousands have rallied to hear.
Or I can point to the GOP of North Carolina, which today put out a press release bragging about how African American turnout is allegedly down and "Caucasian" turnout is up from 2012. And this, mind you, is in a state that a federal court upbraided for enacting obviously racist legislation. The NC GOP is not only refusing to apologize. It is beating its chest about efforts to restrict voting on the basis of race. And this is 2016.
This, again, is the leadership of a tribe. Not a few members of the racist rank and file. The leadership.
Those who vote for Trump are members of this tribe. They are apologists for the filth.
And they will still have the audacity to claim after it's over that theirs is the only message of Real America.
They will double down on efforts to demean, berate and evict those who came to these shores without proper paperwork, conveniently forgetting the hypocrisy of the leader of their tribe, whose wife lied to get here and violated immigration statutes.
They will drape themselves in the flag while conveniently ignoring that the leader of their tribe weaseled his way out of military service five times; that he claims to know more about ISIS than generals who have seen actual combat and agonized when men in their command have died; and that he knows nothing about our form of government and has no apparent interest in learning a thing about it.
They will bask in the divine glory of their religious testament while conveniently ignoring that the leader of their tribe has been divorced twice; bragged about cheating on his third and current wife; bragged and or joked about committing sexual assault; referred to a sacrament article as "my little cracker;" and bragged that he doesn't have to ask for forgiveness.
This is the leader of the tribe.

There is no immoral equivalency between Clinton and Trump. She's a politician no different than most successful politicians, paranoid, with good reason. Overly secretive. Trump is the human incarnation of the 7 deadly sins.

A definition of evil is the absence of good, under that Trump is evil.

Midnight in the East and MSNBC's crawl is a list of the presidents in order, like it's the new AP Top 25 or something. I think we're officially out of things to say.

And Dixville Notch gives Hillary four votes, Trump gets two, Johnson gets one and ... Mitt Romney gets a write-in.

This could be the end of Trump!

When you've lost Dixville Notch, you've lost America.

Dixville notch had 10 voters in 2012 (a 5-5 tie), and only eight this year. A sign Republicans are staying home? It's went Republican in every election from 1960 to 2008.

Kidding aside, I've always thought this was a fun thing. And a great episode of the West Wing.
