Voted for Hilliary, but it was a hold your nose and hope for the best vote. Still find it very, very hard to vote Republican after the W. Gulf War fiasco.

The Senate losses of 2010 and 2014, along with a lack of governorships, have also hurt the Democrats' bench for national elections.

Who can they realistically put up in 2020? Warren obviously but the shadow of Clinton and Obama has taken out most of the other possibilities.

On a personal aside, I liked O'Malley a lot when I covered him. Seemed honest and calm, secure in being a liberal but also had years of running tough places.

He should start a foundation. And, if they start floating the idea that Michelle is going to run for President in 2010, he can probably raise a lot of money.

It is likely that the Democratic nominee in 2020 will be someone totally off our radar now. Donald Trump did not figure in day-after speculation in 2012, nor Barack Obama in 2004. Exmedia, O'Malley struck me as an OK guy. Look, if Beau Biden hadn't died, Joe would've run and IMO won the nomination. Beat Trump? Maybe. If people rightly or wrongly are put off by Hillary, they warm to him.

So, where will the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library be?

    UPenn? Trump Tower? Trump University?

Have you seen the look on her face when that possibility is raised? She's wishing the questioner bursts into flames. Not gonna happen.

Perhaps she can slide into an easy victory as New York Senator.

Ran a few errands before jumping into the forum, so this may be a d_b, but how much of the Clinton loss also belongs to the Democrats in general? Just flashing back to 2008, where there were quite a few candidates in the primary on both sides. This time, they went all-in with Clinton and, as we know via Wikileaks, threw Sanders under the bus. And O'Malley was never really a factor.
