I am a Jew, and they are equivalent.

    The sky is not falling.

    EDIT: Religious test? WTF?

And Obama moves from meeting with Trump to greeting the Cavs. What a juxtaposition. Very smooth.

I was thinking last night -- NBA teams have been pretty vocal. I wonder if a champion doesn't go. Kerr blasted Trump and the election last night. If the Warriors win it all, could be interesting.

Glad Sheriff Cranberry is in town to manage everyone's lives and make everything hunky dory for everyone.

One other thing since you got me going. :) I can point out reality all day long. And you can lob misleading things you find back at me that try to ignore reality. Minimum wages lead to fewer jobs and/or higher prices. It is cause and effect. Not something that needs to be proven. In reality, that can manifest itself in any number of ways. Some jobs might be destroyed by the higher wage. Some jobs might not be created as a result. Restaurants might close (which turns out to be a big effect in a lot of places). Or their prices might go up. Any or all of those things might happen. Cherry picking a look at just one of those things because it fits a narrative is not going to paint a picture of reality.

You can "study" it all day long to try to mislead people. But I guarantee you, anything you find is not going to be able to anticipate, or design a study around, all of the factors that have an effect on what you are so anxious to prove. Whether it is population changes or wealth changes or some random factor that any of us could never even guess that is affecting a population.

On top of it, it is not like we started with a completely free labor market and these laws have drastically changed the landscape. If you slowly destroy something (such as a market) the effects take shape more slowly than when you do it all at once. Taking away all of the other regulation that has deprived people of jobs (because luckily you know who the fat rich slob is who needs to be punished and you are ready with the remedies). ... We've had minimum wage laws for a long time and have already lost a lot of jobs as a result. Hang an even bigger price floor on top of a market and use the old price floor as the starting point and you are not doing the comparison you should be.

This is the last NBA team going to the White House.

Cavs will not go after they repeat. LeBron, JR, and others stumped hard for Hillary. They will be able to couch their rejection in terms of, been there, done that.

Warriors are pussies, so they'd go if they somehow got lucky again.

In my first real job in high school, I was paid minimum wage -- $3.33 an hour -- for the two years I was there. It was just enough money to put gas in my car and buy beer and fast food on the weekends.

Watching Congress is going to be fun once it gets obvious that large employers who beat insurance thresholds can no longer dump their uninsured employees into Obamacare.

Recall Obama asked the Cubs, at least via Twitter, if they wanted to visit before Jan. 20. Definitely an Illinois thing, but we also know he's a White Sox fan.
