What are you arguing? She lost.

Hey, it's fine with me if Trump doesn't care to expand his base.

Let's have an Article V convention and scrap the whole thing for a rewrite. Fucking dead people

It is always one of two things. If it isn't "some people who disagree with me are sometimes hypocritical," it must be "things that can be described in vaguely similar ways are morally equivalent."

    I didn't say that.

It probably did some to further polarize blacks and whites, but the point was that Dems not only didn't condem #BLM, but embraced it.

    No I'm serious.

BLM and the resulting pro-police feelings got a lot of people stirred up. People that definitely did not agree with the movement or the embrace of it.

The idea that unarmed civilians should not be shot to death by police because of the color of their skin hardly seems radical to me. But of course. while I'm white, I know I'm privileged. I'm not comfortable with it, but I know it works for me.

They are going to need to shove it to the sidelines now. Whether or not it is fair, Midwestern white voters are the prettiest girl at the dance and it is time to suck up to them.

One thing I don't quite grasp. Heard a lot of white, blue-collar folks int he Midwest say that they voted Trump because they felt that they were forgotten or neglected by Washington.

What does that mean? Rarely do I feel that the federal government does something that purposely benefits me or was done with me or my family in mind.

Usually, I make too much money to get a tax credit for child-care or to be able to write off tuition or get some free stuff from the government.

But I didn't blame Hillary for that. Most of my journalism career I was one phone call from HR away from being out on the streets so I felt plenty of financial precariousness. But I truly don't get where they are coming from.

I posted previously that Hillary needed to appeal to African-Americans, white working class voters, and young Bernie voters.

The problem is, the same message wouldn't appeal to these three groups, and the messages that would appeal to one, might upset another.

Maybe that's why she stuck to just criticizing Trump.

In the most timely and certainly the most relevant example to this election, the government's effort to bring millions of people into the health insurance market (some who expressly didn't want to be part of that market BTW) led to a steep and sometimes debilitating increase in rates for people who were doing OK before that move.
