THis just perpetuates the myth that Donald Trump is or ever was a player in the New York Real Estate world this century or last. He's not. He's done nothing for 20 years but licensing. And when he was in the New York Real Estate world, he was a bit player as far as square footage developed and owned. Trump's WEst Side Redevelopment was his biggest attempt at relevance. THAT STARTED IN 1974. And he never developed the West Side. Television City. Trump City.
I don't think he owns a building with his name on it. He doesn't own the Hotels with his name on it. He and any affiliated company have no interest in or manage or develop or plan any resorts or Hotels with his name in it. Trump golf courses? Managed by who? For that he may have a minority interest or receive royalties for licensing, but he doesn't have any operational control. He's a fraud as a businessman. He's a game show host

Great. Now all I can think of is Wink Martindale.

That's President Wink Martindale and Vice President Bob Eubanks.

Ah, Bob Eubanks: "Where's the strangest place you've had sex?"

    Answer: "In the butt, Bob."

Would have made a great President, too bad he was foreign born:

$19 trillion in debt and counting, plus $100 trillion in unfunded liabilities, says the country is not "better off than it has been in a decade."

Both parties' representatives in the federal government spend like drunken sailors on shore leave.

Eventually we're not going to be able to afford to pay for anything other than Medicare, SS, W's prescription drug plan and interest on our debt.

But hey, that's no reason for people to be pissed or anything...

One of the greatest movie villains ever in The Running Man.

Gotta start with major changes to SS and Medicare -- mostly in recognition that people are living much longer, and thus should plan to work longer as well -- but neither party has the balls to alienate old people.

    Mostly because old people vote.

I specifically picked a picture of his Running Man character.

You can't tell a 64-year-old who has been told all his life he would receive full benefits at 65 that all of a sudden he has to wait until he's 72.

Want to monkey with the retirement age? Fine. But you need to tell today's 20- and 30-year-olds that they aren't seeing a dime until they are 70, and no full benefits till they're 75.

See how well that goes over.

Biggest change I would make is increasing the income threshold for FICA deduction. It's currently at $118,500. Cap the sucker at $200,000, but do so on a sliding scale so that the 6.2 percent eventually drops to 0 for anything above $200K.
