Hey! If it's good enough for a major political party's presidential debates, it's good enough for us...

I don't think Geddy Lee wants to go to North Korea.

Wait, the woman, who was pregnant and carried the child to term and then delivered it agonizingly through her birth canal, discovered after this amazing process that she was raped? Um, what?

In those instances, the woman did choose to have sex. So one could argue she exposed herself to the risk of pregnancy, even if she took "precautions" such as birth control or the "pull-out" method.

In the case of rape or incest, she had no such choice. At the moment of conception, she was being victimized, rather than taking what she deemed an acceptable risk of pregnancy.

There is a logical reason to make the rape/incest exception. It can also be considered morally consistent to argue against such an exception, as you've argued. And there are good arguments to allow women to make their choice.

Sure. If you start from the premise that abortion doesn't end a human life. If you start from the premise that it does end a human lives, however, a rape/incest exception is incompatible.

She knows she was raped. She doesn't know the pregnancy was a result of the rape.
