OK, I see what you mean. It doesn't happen, but I see what you mean.

Because the life is no less worth preserving because of how it began. Murderers do not get less years for icing a hooker as compared to a wealthy aristocrat.

    It doesn't happen?

    I'm quite certain it does.

It's a statistically insignificant number of cases to even consider the scenario in which one would commit infanticide.

Changing the subject slightly, one of my coworkers had this to say about the campaign manager's assault. Is it as stupid as it sounds?

"From a journalist's perspective, you've got to be freakin' kidding me with this Trump "assault" charge against his campaign manager. Can you imagine if I wanted to ask more questions at a Belichick press conference as he walked away from the podium and I reached over and grabbed his arm? If HE didn't elbow me in the face, I'd certainly expect someone else would forcefully keep me away from him! Male or female, there are processes in place for the media, they are called PRESS CONFERENCES!!! You don't get to ask people questions, especially presidential candidates being led away by security, when you feel like it and get to reach out to grab them to get their attention. This "reporter" is lucky her "assault" was a guy simply grabbing her wrist/forearm and pulling her away. If it was a 200-pound guy, he likely would have/should have been knocked on his a$$. Shame on this woman for running with this. Disgraceful. What's next? If I need more advice from my doctor, should I hide in the parking lot and block his or her car door until i get what I need? If they try to move me, it's assault? Ugh.... Trump supporter or not, this just isn't right.... OK, rant over."

Neither one of us knows that. I'm comfortable in saying it does happen.

If you are a pro-lifer who supports a rape/incest exception, is infanticide justified? I think it has to be.

Go try and grab Hillary at a rally, spuds, and see what happens.

Life is no less worth preserving? We make those determinations every day. The poor person with cancer and no health insurance receives lesser care than the billionaire. Is his life no less worth preserving than the billionaire?

So for someone to argue that the mental and emotional well-being of the victim is of greater good to society than the unborn child's well-being is not incompatible.

You think he has a point, then?

Why would it be justified? The child has been carried to term and the victim has delivered it. The child can be given up for adoption, put into foster care, etc. Why would it be justified to kill the child?

Also, those options remain open to a victim even if the rape/incest exception is allowed. Rape/incest victims are not forced to abort the child.
