Yeah, it's an obsession to want to know where the leading Dem candidate for president stands on one of the most divisive issues in American politics.

For a journalist to think that is pathetic.

 

Actually, the ban is quite meaningful.

A woman can't just walk in a clinic during the third trimester and say, "I want an abortion."

She would need to be mentally evaluated, and diagnosed by a doctor with a mental condition.

 

What is so insane about wanting what is best for the woman, especially one who is suffering from a mental condition?

 

I'll stipulate that we're all baby-killing lunatics, but the voters already know this. Can we move on considering only about 1 percent of all abortions in the US take place after 20 weeks gestation?

 

You do know there is a difference between having an abortion on demand in the third trimester, or having an abortion because the woman's mental health is being affected by the pregnancy, don't you?

 

Interesting. Is there any research that backs up that a third-trimester abortion prolongs a woman's mental health condition?

 

We're dancing around it, but the fact is that Americans remain skeptical of mental health diagnoses.

Over diagnosis of conditions like ADHD have not helped, in that regard.
