    I agree. NO restrictions? Wow.

Look, while I disagree with you, I appreciate your answer.

And, while the term "extreme" might be loaded, you are at the far end of the spectrum (which you acknowledge).

I believe most Dems (and especially most Dem politicians) agree with you, and only use a ban, with exceptions as cover. It's not unlike how they used to pretend to be against gay marriage.

I'm far to the right of Hillary. And I believe what Cran says: "I believe the only people who should be involved in a decision to terminate a pregnancy, at any stage, are the woman carrying the fetus and to a lesser extent the man who fertilized the egg and her doctor. Nobody else."

So, tell me what you believe. It shouldn't be hard. Cran was able to do it.

I'm not sure why this is like pulling teeth.

So, you're far to the right of Hillary in general, but to the left of her on abortion rights/restrictions.

    OK. Fair enough.

But, look at what's already happened here. BDC99 finds Cran's position to be horrifying.

If we actually get liberals to state where they are on the issue, we see there is some disagreement. We see that an extreme position turns off even some Dems, and would surely turn off many voters if a politician were to state that it was their opinion.

That is a pretty conservative belief. I don't think Lena Dunham would like you or Cran.

    You did.

You're saying women will pretend to be mentally ill in order to have a third trimester abortion. That's not exactly thinking straight, right?

Health exception? Certainly. Or would you rather a woman end up in a coma than risk an abortion?

Mental health? Sure. As it's certified by a doctor.

And if you think that a doctor will fake it, then riddle me with this: if abortion was banned, what would prevent a doctor from just performing "appendectomies" on women?
